What is a celebrant? A celebrant is someone who can create a bespoke ceremony for you. Whether you are getting married, wishing to have a naming day for your child or children, would like to renew your vows or would simply like to celebrate something joyful in your life with a beautifully crafted ceremony, a celebrant can make this happen.
Are you qualified? Yes, I have a NOCN Level 3 Diploma (RQF) in Couples and Naming Ceremonies which is the highest level you can reach in this field, so you can be rest assured that your ceremony is safe in my hands.
Can you legally marry people? I cannot legally marry people. A wedding certificate will need to be obtained via a registry office.
Which areas do you cover? I cover all areas of Hertfordshire, but I am willing to travel anywhere my work takes me. Any meetings or ceremonies outside of Hertfordshire will attract a small travel fee of 16p per mile.
What are your ceremony fees? Weddings, Commitment, Renewal of Vows ceremonies cost £600 and Naming Day ceremonies cost £500.
Can I pay a deposit? Yes, a non-refundable deposit of £125 will be paid at the point of agreeing to book me.
How do you accept payments? You can pay either by bank transfer, cheque, or cash.
Do you supply ceremony products e.g. unity candles and if so, how much do they cost? If you require any extra materials for your ceremony this can be discussed at your planning meeting.
